It is fitting that in the Pan African Parliament’s 10th year, a revised Protocol was adopted that will, when ratified, change its mandate from being a purely consultative platform to one that has legislative powers. This will allow it to contribute in a much more meaningful way towards the integration of the continent, as the Clerk of the PAP, Advocate Zwelethu Madasa, explains.
