
COMMITTTEE ON CO-OPERATION, INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION (2013)
The Committee considers issues relating to the development of an efficient policy in matters of co-operation and international relations of the Parliament and the AU. It also looks at the conventions and protocols linking the Parliament to regional and international institutions and reports to the Parliament. It carries out examinations on the revision of AU protocols and treaties and assists the Parliament in its efforts of conflict prevention and resolution. In 2010, the focus was placed on the elimination of chemical weapons, while in 2011/12 the Committee examined the state of peace and security
